  Awesome place! Open late, perfect for a chill night with a good group of friends. Really good selection of games for a place that just opened not too long ago. It's a good space and you don't feel suffocated like some other board game cafes. The food isn't bad, a little pricey but I would expect that from a growing business and would love to continue supporting this kind of thing in sherwood park! The owner is also very friendly and gives a family feel for sure. Can't wait to go back soon.

  The guy always says "here to play some games?" whenever we walk in, which is weird. He also tells us to "have fun" when we go to play a board game. Have fun? Who is he to tell us to have fun? We can very well have our own fun without his say so!

  Good boardgame Cafe in Sherwood park. Fine selection of games. Drink and food prices are quite reasonable and the staff is very friendly. One suggestion would be to organize the boardgames by type (ie: worker placement one area, family friendly another etc)

  waitress was rude, giving me dirty looks, ignoring me and generally overall an extreme HEIGHT OF RUDENESS which I have never before experienced in any service establishment. She REFUSED ME a manager to speak with and sent over a SECURITY GUARD who was quite clearly on a power trip, he THREATENED ME, so I started to run to get away from him, at which point he called another security guard and THEY PROCEEDED TO POUND ON ME. THE ONE, SMALL ASIAN SECURITY GUARD KEPT SCREAMING AT ME, "I'M GOING TO BREAK YOUR beeping BACK!" REALLY???? ALL BECAUSE I asked to speak with the manager about the lousy service & NOW I'M STUCK WITH MAJOR NECK AND BACK INJURIES FROM THIS ASSAULT - DON'T RISK going to Beyond Board!! JASON IS REALLY RUDE!
